50 Ways To Leave Your Lover: Yanks-Rangers V

For some reason, I find the fact that there are only 50 games left in the Yankees’ season somewhat settling. Kind of like the breakup both partners saw coming yet neither wanted to acknowledge until the whole fiasco came to a head on a desperate 10-day road trip vacation. Okay, that’s a tad overwrought.

While we wait for news on Joba’s tissue issue, the Yankees try to cope with yet another crack in yet another key cog of the machine while sending Andy Pettitte to the mound, hoping to rebound from last night’s frustrating loss. AP was rocked by the Halos his last time out. The Rangers counter with tomato can Matt Harrison.

It’s not you, it’s me. And you always made me laugh. I’ll leave the keys when I come by later for my stuff.

Yuck. Im disgusted with this season, its been slow torture. Every time i think they get going they start losing and someone gets hurt. Part of me is glad there are only 50 left….

ARod ends the game. Yanks down too much against inferior teams. Unless they can win the next 20 or something..

Preseason football has started…that’s cool. Four weeks from tomorrow until the season opener!!!
