Aces Up? Yanks-Jays Gamer V

At the beginning of this season, Roy Halladay and Andy Pettitte were the aces of their respective staffs. Lately? Not so much. Halladay is 2-2, 6.85 in his last 4, Pettitte is 0-1 with a 20.25 era in his last two at the Stadium. So who knows what we get tonight. If both men return to career form, it will be a difficult night offensively. Also, there’s still the question of retribution for Alex’s early season “Ha!”—this would be truly ridiculous. Anyhoo, Alex and Derek continue to bang away, and for this week only Andy Phillips is a hero. Catch him now before he’s gone! Lineups after the jump.

They just haven’t survived him tonight quite yet.

  • I was at the game, thus the lack of comment. It was a great game, though would’ve been nicer to see Farns not give up a run. The stadium was booing him (and Damon) all day..
