  • Yeah, well, it can change in a hurry. Look at Pedroia in the ALDS. Wasn’t he something like 1-21 at one point? Of course, Tek isn’t going to become Jayson Bay overnight….But career averages….

  • To bump a late comment to the game thread last night back up:
    What are the chances that Ortiz sits, or gets knocked down in the order tonight? (Slim to none, I suspect.)
    Does Byrd’s appearance last night mean that Beckett would definitely start a Game 6?
    Will it be Coco-only for the remainder, or will Ellsbury be given a chance to snap out of it?
    NOTE: All of the above may be moot questions if Good Wake doesn’t show up tonight.
