Alliterative Rematch: Sox-Twins Gamer II

The two pitchers face each other once more with the Sox on a 3-game win streak (but only one of those wins was “easy”). Same old story or new twist? Let’s find out…

  • 3-0 Sox in the first. Thanks, Papi. I remember the Sox’ last loss more or less started with a Papi 3-run job to right as well. Gunshy.

  • Ortiz drives in half the runs (and scores a quarter of them) in a game that ends 12-5 Sox, but was as close as 7-5 when Farrell left Dempster in at least a batter, and probably two batters, too late…trying to get the starter the win.
