As an aside, we agree totally on Olympic Stadium. I went to two games there in the summer of 1988 between the Mets and Expos and endured one of the worst baseball experiences of my life. The 4300 or so teenage Montreal fans in attendance seemed more interested in seeing how high they could get the Labatt’s Blue “Noise-o-Meter” with a franco-canadian wail than in watching the game. It’s no wonder they serve stronger beer up north – the fans need something sedating to take the edge off that horror. It was a truly horrid place to watch a game, with the worst fans (Yanks devotees specially exempted from this debate) in all of ball.
