BCvBC: Yanks-Royals Gamer

Bartolo Colon is on the mound for New York, Bruce Chen for KC.  Lackey and the Red Sox fell to St. Pete earlier today and the Yankees have notched two runs via a solo shot by Curtis Granderson, his 34th on the season, and (just now) a two-out hit by Swisher.  Comment away.

Shit call. That ball clearly hit the top of the wall, the fence and then back into play. There is no line so apparently, all you have to do is hit the top of the wall and it’s a HR?
Whatever. Chen is going down. Hard.

Bruce Chen cannot be allowed to make it through 5 innings…ag and I could knock him out of the game with wiffle ball bats he is so terrible.
Finish him.

The Sox got fewer hits in the last TWO games than either NY or KC already got in this one.
Saw the triple play last night in person…….but that’s thin gruel now

Of course Posada made the final out. I was really hoping Swish would hit because obviously Jorge is an automatic out.
Disappointing.
Didn’t take advantage of Boston losing.

“Very generous strike zone and Posada is down looking.”
I agree, that ball was outside but not by much. It certainly was close enough to be swinging at with 2 strikes on you. Wasn’t that one of the first things we all learned about hitting, protect the plate with 2 strikes?
