Awesome clip. ← ‘X’ Out → Gardner on the Rise 5 replies on “Bob & Reg: Who Owns the Plate” Awesome clip, indeed. Thanks for posting this. A reminder: Gibson – 1968 – 258 ERA+: 304 IP, 1.12 ERA, 268 K, 62 BB, 0.82 WHIP All hail. That, good Sir, was excellent. Gibson looks as if he could still pitch. The one pitcher I heard the most about growing up, from my Dad, was Gibson. Wish I could have watched him in his prime. Right at the end, regarding backing out of the box: “You don’t knock ’em down for that kind of stuff… They give you plenty of other reasons to knock ’em down.” Beautiful. What a great video. I could listen to those two talk about baseball all day long. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.
