Brown Out?

If SF is entitled to worry about Derek Lowe, it seems we Yankee fans have equally legitimate, if not as dire, reason for concern about the performance of Kevin Brown, who relinquished another lead this evening, and has not been the dominating presence we had anticipated based on his 2003 numbers and his first three starts this year against lowly Tampa. That 5-0 record, which may well move to 5-1 within the hour, is a bit deceiving.

Even up, right now, it’s a deal!
Contextually, you have a point. But don’t forget that Derek Lowe isn’t in Kevin Brown’s league, historically speaking, and that’s important.
