The Yankees show off their new pitcher Hiroki Kuroda today as they face the Rays at the Trop. David Price is on the mound for St. Petersburg. It has to go better than yesterday, doesn’t it?

Leadoff single for Jeter…
Sure looks exactly like last year…
No hitting
Kuroda looks horrible too…
Nunez error on the first ball hit right at him…
0-2 to start the season.
Awesome.
0-3.
Kuroda is afraid to pitch to contact.
I’m out.
Not ruining my weekend the 2nd game.
No way both our teams will suck all season.
I just want to point out that this Yankee rally started about the same time I put on Aretha Franklin’s Amazing Grace.
A-Rod up as tying run in 9th. Yankees always need to make it interesting…
Up the middle…to the 2B (I think, the camera angle wasn’t great)…out at 1st.
Y’all’s team fought better than ours today, fo sho.
And after putting up 4 in the 9th to make it 8-6, ARod come up as the tying run and pops out on the first pitch to end it.
Perhaps I shouldn’t have pointed out the Aretha Franklin thing.
Sorry. It wasn’t a pop-out. My mistake.
Our teams stink. I refuse to let this ruin my weekend. Taking my girls on a long hike before getting on a plane for 10 days overseas. Hopefully by the time I return the Yankees will have remembered how to play.
Salvage some pride today?
Maybe have a starter actually pitch well, play some decent defense and then actually KNOCK IN RUNS BY HITTING THE FUCKING BALL????
We’ll see.
