Can I Have A “Ha!”: Yanks-Twins Gamer

AJ made another fine mess out of his start yesterday, kicking a chance to gain a game on the Sox to the curb. Press conferences ensued. Sticktuitiveness was extolled. And now ARod is back and batting cleanup, which makes for much better press potential than talking about AJ’s latest meltdown.

Jeter is leading off but isn’t playing the field, and Brett Gardner is hitting eighth in front of Nunez. Ivan Nova looks for his ninth win, hopefully a bit more efficiently than his last time out. Nick Blackburn throws for the Twins. Lineups follow, comment away.

Don’t even mention his name.
I want the site rules updated to state that no one may utter his name on days he isn’t pitching.
Make it happen.

Incredible.
Curtiss and Swish let a pop fly fall between them. Pathetic.
Ended up with a 2nd and 3rd with no outs.
K. K. Ground out.
No damage.
Impressive CSN. Impressive.

Awesome game by Nova. Really bore down uunder pressure with 2nd and 3rd and no outs. Curtis is my hero (how many sluggers have this guy’s speed????). And the pen is the pen. Mo advancing fast on 600, 601, and 602…
