According to Chad Jennings over at LoHud, he has confirmed with Brian Cashman that both Sergio Mitre and Chad Gaudin have non-guaranteed contracts. This may provide the room the Yankees are searching for with their recent addition of Chan Ho Park. According to MLB Trade Rumors "The Yanks could cut them in Spring Training and would only be required to pay them 30-45 days of termination pay." It's nice to have depth at starting pitcher, but it's even better to have options and some flexibility.
