Doings About the League

We’re seeing Sweet Lou’s swan song in Tampa. Palmeiro’s singing in Charm City. Rickey may return to Oakland. Junior’s going under the knife. Men in Atlanta are pigs. It’s been a busy day at ESPN.com, and that’s without mentioning a certain correction to the standings in the East, or the continuing collapse in the Second City. (But at least those Chicagoans remember to
wash up
.)

  • Yeah, I noticed that they didn’t mention it as well. Screw them.

  • The silence here confirms what I have long thought: SF is BradSF, SFVT … and all the others.
SF leaves on a momentous day, and the comments end.

  • john yf, I’m starting to wonder if there’s any truth to your theory.

  • Look over collective your shoulders, Yankee fans; the Soxs are down, but not out!!!

  • C’mon John – you should know by now that I’m not as middle of the road as our gracious moderator. I still hold true to the belief that while the Yanks are surging, they have gotten too hot to fast. Unlike SF, who has all but given the whole thing away to our counterparts to the south.
I also think that the latest string of Sox games are more a product of playing for the last 30 days straight, and not of their capability. Well, minus Edgar, who pretty much can’t catch a basketball.

  • Hmmmmm … SF is back, and so is Brad SF.
Of course his alter egos would have different personalities.
