An argument can be made for either pitcher as the ace of the staff so far, but why don’t we just say they’ve both been distinctly ace-like (ace-y? ace-ish?) and enjoy the show?

Lester tries to beat Buchholz to win #7 today. A dude with the handle of Axelrod opposes. Off we go.

This morning, I finally started what I’d been planning to start for a week and a half, and began sweeping the house. Somehow the sight of me with a broom in my hand triggered my wife’s “get sh*t done” mentality, and we ended up re-organizing the house…finally putting away some crates that had been waiting to be put away for months, cleaning out an overstuffed closet, etc. The process is nearly finished, and we’ve only been moved in for like 11 months!

The Sox have done a good job of avenging the Fenway embarrassment from earlier this month, taking the series with a win yesterday. But for a season series win, they’ll need today’s game, too. The winner of today’s match will win the season series 4-3.

Welp, time to go move a treadmill. Maybe we’ll actually use it in its new space. You go ahead and comment. Maybe we’ll be done when the game is halfway over…

This happened just two days ago: attackgerbil let his chickens out of The Egg Majal to run around the yard and eat bugs and poop on his patio as chickens are wont to do. I came out to re-incarcerate them in their chicken palace when I saw a Blue Jay fly into the coop, hop on a ledge, and dive straight for the egg box. Dirty nasty thieves they are, stealing precious eggs. Chased it out of there, we did, nasty Jay squawking whole time about wes doesn’t understand the power of the incredible edible egg.

The game is already underway, with Phelps on the mound to face those sneaky Jays while Brandon Morrow is on the mound for Toronto. Comment away.

Worley, with a season ERA of over 7, throws for the Twins. He had a relatively serviceable 5 IP, 3 ER outing against the Sox on May 6th. Hoping it’s worse for him today.
