So many great gestures yesterday. The Yankees were one of many teams to play “Sweet Caroline” during their game. It ain’t my favorite song, but the show of support means so much even to a non-Boston resident like myself (I’ve been a few times, maybe four games at Fenway, cool town). Oakland fans started a “Let’s go, Boston” chant at their game. Probably my favorite tribute was the Brewers playing the Cheers theme at their game, but Cleveland playing “Dirty Water” after the Sox won was good stuff, too.
Oh, the game today? Well, it’s Aceves vs. Masterson. Probably should bask in the support/love a bit longer as the game is not likely to provide the solace of victory/the big inning like yesterday. Still, the solace of baseball/normalcy is really nice, and you never know what’s gonna happen.

Seeing Francona chew his tongue off (or whatever he’s doing) in the other dugout is weeeeeeeeeeeirrrrrrrrrd.
Farrell took some muthafuckin’ stupid pills. Can’t believe he left Aceves out there for more than a baserunner in the 6th. The walk to start the inning should have been it. Then homer, homer, double. WTF?!!!!!!
