Rough Night Redux

In response to the below, a recap of last night’s performance by the Yanks:

-Blow a 4-run lead.
-Blow a 4-run lead, again.
-Blow yet another lead, but in extra innings.
-5 HR allowed to the Orioles. The Orioles.
-Rookie “sensation” Ian Kennedy to the DL.

And then there was the performance of our beloved Captain:

-Picked off 2nd with 2 on, 2 out and A-Rod at bat in a tie game.
-Fails to get down a bunt twice, then strikes out.
-Caught at third to conclude a crushing 4-2-6 DP in the 11th.

  • You know things are bad when we are starting to get on Jeter…
I’ll blame last nights game more on Hughes (AAA is the place for Ian…maybe for good?) Ohlendorf, Hawkins and Betemit. Why the hell is Betemit on this team? Way to play the line in extra innings moron!!! Gonzalez is obviously 100,000,000 x’s better??? The guy is barely a switch hitter, he is awful from the right side, mediocre from the left! Meaty and Hawk can go…you are the weakest links…GOODBYE!!!!
