Interesting thread over at Sons of Sam Horn discussing the Sox’ second base dilemma. Apparently our debate is comparably heated in Red Sox Nation. I am still of the mind that Reese gets more time, but the inherent logic (of many posters at SoSH) of Reese starting behind Lowe and Kim, Bellhorn behind Schilling, Martinez, and Wakefield, with Reese spelling a gimpy Nomar at short occasionally seems eminently logical. It sounds about right, pending a reasonably healthy Garciaparra return to the lineup. Perhaps we can put this debate to rest and wait to see how Francona handles it.
