We just walked in the door, delayed in our return home by a subway closing at Tiimes Square (oy) to find the boys up over Tampa by a 10-2 count in the second—and counting. So much for being intimidated by the Rays.
And 5-1 Toronto in the 5th and 2-0 Oakland in the 5th. Oy Oy! If those three scores continue, the Yanks could have an easier month.
And the runs keep comin’. And for the Jays as well. As for Oak vs. Cle, well, that’s a no lose situation for the Yanks.
Until proven otherwise, I’m more worried about the Indians than the As. The Indians have been the hottest lately, and they don’t have to play Boston, unlike the As. But I won’t complain about 17 to 3 against the Devils.
The perfect way to start the stretch drive.
Wow. Just wow. The entire replacement set is in. And Giambino hit number 30.
