This can be the ALCS Game 5 thread.
Obviously, the Angels need to win. Even without the repeated, comprehension-defying, unjustifiably bad calls against the Angels (at least three last night alone), the White Sox have just plain outplayed the Halos. The Angels last night looked less like this year’s team and more like last year’s ALDS team, exhausted and stymied by a focused and determined opponent. Last year they used everything they had to win the division in the last week of the year, and just had nothing left for the playoffs. I hope the same isn’t true about beating the Yanks this year.
I can say this: they ain’t gonna win if Figgins and Vlad keep up their race to the bottom.
Anyway, comment away, if you’re a BaseballFan who is watching the game…
Nice play by AK going up the ladder on Rowand. (Linkin Park? Aaron. Tsk. Tsk.)
Jeez. They should deduct an Angel run for that fan. California. What a country.
Lou P. on Figgins: “quickest player in baseball.” Is that some kind of shot at Crawford/Gathright? God he’s annoying.
Creede! And here comes Duque.
Creede again!
Excuse me. Crede.
RIP Angels. Sympathies to AF. Congrats to the ChiSox, deserving winners.
