Yikes, when was the last time the Yankees put out their “A” lineup? Not since the 15-inning marathon, I think. And yet they’ve won all but one game since then. Even more impressive when you consider that.

Leadoff single for Jeter…ties all-time mark for most hits by a SS EVER! How anyone can ever say that he is overrated is just pure haterness…period.

yup

Jeter is the best ALL-AROUND SS ever…The Wizard is probably the best defensively, Jeter offensively.
So, in closing…Jeter is the best SS in history.
GREAT GRAB BY AROD! 1 more out boys…

Remember that A-Rod was a great offensive and defensive shortstop before his move to third.
It’s crazy to think that we’re seeing two of the best 3 shortstops of all time on the same side of the diamond.

There it is…0-2 count, FB right down the middle, RBI single…3-3. Joba blows the lead finally. Jerry bobbled the ball in CF too so there was no throw…may have been close. F-ck. About the completely blow the lead…1st and 3rd now.

Yanks just don’t have it today. Pity it had to come against as bad a team as Seattle. But then again, they get an even worse team up next.

It’s nice not having to be at all mad/disappointed/frustrated after a bad loss like this.

I’m certainly disappointed – by Joba’s outing if nothing else. But I get what you’re saying A-YF – it’s not like the Yanks lost ground today. Need to finish the west coast swing strong against Oakland.
