Got that right.
But add another win for the Yanks in that late inning win post the other day – woot!

I assume you saw this quote from Torre in today’s NYT …
“Farnsie has the most experience doing that for the eighth and the ninth; he was a closer, too,” Torre said. “I’d have to see something really bad from him where he was very inconsistent, and I haven’t seen that.”
Hopefully, he saw it tonight.

Maybe Joe needs to borrow Kyle’s glasses while he’s pitching?

Farnsworth is bad any day of the week, be it night or day, be it on rest or not, with a lead, tied or loosing, against a AAA or MLB club or a HS World Series team…

“Hopefully, he saw it tonight.”
If Joe missed it he was the only one of the 51,000 in attendance.
He’s got to go.
Last night was the only time in my life I’ve booed a Yankee. :(
Come on, Farnsworth is consistent. Come in, give up runs. That’s consistency!

I was saying this about him halway through last year. He is an overpaid overhyped whiny never-been relief pitcher.

I think the Yankees should bring Farns every 8th inning where they have a four or a five-run lead. That way, he can give up a couple of runs, get 3 outs, and Mo can come in and pad his save stats.

Thank you for that, yankees76. I haven’t laughed that hard since someone told me JD Drew was a hard worker!
