Leave’em in the Wake: Sox-O’s Gamer II

The Sox try to extend their winning streak over the Orioles to 10 games tonight, and they put the task in the knuckles of Tim Wakefield, who has a measly one win this season despite several fine efforts.   The O’s throw out lefty Erik Bedard, giving them a decent shot statistically: the Sox are 4-6 against lefties at Fenway through yesterday.  Our suggestion? Keep your eyes on Mike Lowell, doubles machine – he’s on fiyah

  • Wake starts with 2 Ks! An auspicious beginning.

  • Waiting for things to get started at Ameriquest, so I’m watching the Sox game. Nice offensive show by the Sox thus far, nice little 2 RBI single by A-Gon. But that said, Youk looks like the type a guy that has continuous bad breath. This isn’a shot on the Sox, no rivalry stuff, just a weird observation. I always thought the same thing about Giambi. You know the type of guy that just chugged a protein shake and then comes and talks to you real close like.

  • BloodyYank, according to the GameCast, at least, it’s an Orioles relief pitcher’s last name…
