Long Time Coming: Yanks-Halos Gamer

Sorry, I’ve been away for a while, but it doesn’t seem like I missed much. I was on a short vacation that turned into a long sick break. I’d like to say it’s good to be back, but these left coast games are hard on everyone. Tonight Kuroda faces C.J. Wilson. It doesn’t look like Los Angeles will give these poor tired Yankees any quarter. Hits, please. Comment away.

  • Wondered at them letting Kuroda face Trout. He was just under 100 pitches, but he’s a bit older and whatnot, wondered if Girardi should have put the fresh arm in for the big gun. Trout tripled after a long battle, and Kelley came in for Pujols, who singled to tie the game.

  • Brian Roberts hits a 2-out solo shot in the 9th to put the Yanks ahead. Damn, baseball is awesome.

  • I’ll tell you what, Krueg, the game the kids played on Monday was an absolute joy. We had two (!) double plays on pop flies-throw outs, kids were hitting, heads-up base-running, little gerbil was catching and had two rbis.. Good times.

  • Maybe the Yankees were watching…that was an old skool Yankees dominant first inning.

    5-0 after 1.
