I’m a little late, but Kuroda is looking good on the bump against Texas, though he did just give up a two-out ball-with-eyes-single to Profar in the top of the third. Derek Holland has also given up two hits while also not allowing any runs for the Rangers. Comment away.

Kuroda helps himself out with a bit of nifty glove work on a comebacker to escape the third, which I thought he had put away until he gave up two singles and went deep into three at bats. Hope he’s not tired.
Cano up in the top of the fourth sees the plate getting very wide for Derek Holland, and then has to foul one off to protect the corner that is now 5 inches outside. Holland throws the wide-strike pitch a third time and Cano lines it right back at his head.. Holland ducks for cover and Profar snags the liner. I’m not saying I wish Cano would have hit him for getting the plate stretched out like that. No, I’m not saying that.
would’ve been cool though.. No, I’m not saying that either.
I hate bunts, but Ichiro just laid down a pretty fantastic bunt. Holland had to be perfect to field it. I wonder if Ichiro of 10 years ago would have beaten it out? Lillibridge responds with a looper to left that scores Romine, and he legs it for a double. Fun stuff. Robi up with one away.
Canohits a very slow roller straight up the 1st base line, Holland with another tough play having to field behind Robi who has to avoid the ball, bang-bang, but he’s out by a fraction.
Lillibridge to third on that play. Vernon Wells with two away.
Done, nicely.
