Musical Chairs

YF heads off to Chicago for a couple of days, and all hell breaks loose. Cash is ticked, Unit’s headed for the DL, Bernie’s benched, Matsui’s going to center, Woemack’s off to left, and Cano’s coming up to take second. Excuse us if we’re not thrilled. Woemack in left? He’s not exactly going to put up Manny numbers is he? Shall we point out now that none of these problems would be problems if Cash had stuck Phillips at second and shelled out for Beltran over the summer? Then, who knows, the Yanks might not even be 6.5 out.

Okay. We’ll be back tonight to take stock. Now we’re gonna go check out this crazy Sears tower thingy. We hear it’s taller than Randy, but we’re so not convinced.

  • Just an FYI, this says it all about how George killed the Yankee dynasty of the 90’s and how we maybe in for a decade like the 80’s again, only worse because the Sox look like they are going to be competitive for at least the next 5 – 10 years.
It’s enough to make you weep:

  • Whew. My eyes get tired watching Brown pitch. It’s hard following those balls around the field.
