YF tuned us in to the aesthetic stylings of Mariano Rivera in a great post last week. And while the picture above may lead everyone to think this is a SF-centric retort about the beauty of a certain Boston slugger’s efforts, it’s not. At least not entirely. It’s about the picture you will find after the jump.
This is a picture of my daughter Alice on our vacation last week. What she was doing I have no clue. Perhaps in the middle of falling on her ass, or imitating her favorite Red Sox, I have absolutely no idea – she’s a free spirit, that girl. Needless to say I got very lucky with this picture, and if there comes a day that "Little A" (as I ironically call her — she’s not so little despite only being 16 months old) cracks the LPGA Tour, or, in a feat of gender-equality-bending impossibility, the Majors, we’ll have this memento of her early formal prowess. Though a righty, she’s got the fluidity of Will Clark and Jim Edmonds in her, no?
