Peter Gammons, Subjective Journalist?

Nugget of the night: Peter Gammons is a 20-year season ticket holder at Fenway. Can we trust him to be objective, this certified member of RSN? Or is his criticism of the Red Sox merely a forced attempt to be even-handed? Can we trust this madman!??!

  • You can trust Gammons (picked Sox to win it all), just like you can trust Cheney (has millions in Halliburton stock in (wink-wink) “Blind” trust and gave them Multi-Billion $ Iraq contract).

  • Well you’ve got me there, but it looks like PG changes positions with the rapidity of John Kerry (we kid because we love!), because just yesterday he was claiming that St Louis would be unstoppable.

While PG may be a RS season ticket holder and a certified member of RSN, this has never affected the way that he reports on and around MLB. He is as quick to second guess the RS front office as he is any other MLB team.
Does he favor the RS personally??? Without a doubt, but that is like saying the NYT is bias b/c they are from NY. Will they both report the flaws of their beloved franchises, of course they are first and foremost professionals.
So why the PG bashing when the man has done nothing short of a stellar job as an inside reporter??? Just boggles ones mind…
This has been a paid for advertisement from RSN… Go SOX!!!
