Ahoy hoy. Checking in from the NY Thruway at a rest stop somewhere outside of Utica, as the S.O. and I along with the little man are continuing our vacation and wondering if we should try and find the game on the AM radio. She Tigers fan, me Yanks fan, child horribly conflicted. iPod harmony vs. baseball family strife. Hmm. Anyway here’s your gamer for today’s action. Comment away.

Not feeling this lineup Joe. We are in playoff chase you can’t give Jeter and Jorge the same day off. Just can’t happen.
Anyway won’t be around to comment today, another BBQ, not happy. I’ll be here in spirit, Go Yanks!
MLB.tv is broadcasting this game for free, btw.
1-0 Tigers on an inside-the-park HR by Granderson.
I don’t love the lineup either but Jeter is batting barely above .200 for almost 2 weeeks now and Jorge looked tired and alomost out of the game Friday night/Saturday morning – at least a few bad throws to second, terrible base-running on what should have been a triple, etc. and then, together with Jeter, went 0-for last night. Also, if there is a day we will need EVERYONE, it is tomorrow (Mussina vs. Verlander – shudder)
Personally I am loving this lineup.
Anyone know what happened to Jurrjens? “Saw” the injury on Gameday.
Hurt his shoulder
Thanks, Bozo.
5-1 now on a Thames homer.
Phil Franchise has given up three homers today. One of which was the “run real fast variety” inside the park style.
5-4 after Cano hits a three-run blast.
I-Rod ejected in the at the end of the 4th inning for arguing strikes.
Went away for the weekend – bah. They’re not winning games, I see..
Seattle finally figured out how to lose. Hate to say it, but I am officially turning my attention to them now.
