Robinson’s Return: Mariners-Yanks Gamer I

One of the best second basemen of our time plays at Yankee Stadium today, though in a different uniform than baseball fans are used to.

He will face CC Sabathia a few times while the M’s bring a dude named Young to the hill. How will this play out? Will Cano feel obligated to tailor his swing to the short porch after tallying a single homer through the young season thus far? I dunno, let’s find out! Comment away.

  • I can honestly say, I don’t miss Robbie at all. He is a great guy and an awesome player, but he’s not a winner. I wish him all the best.

    Now, let’s crush him.

  • CC K’s Cano to loud applause…not sure he deserved the boos really, but such is life.

  • CC fell apart and failed ultimately. To the worst offensive team in the universe. Oh wait, Houston rocked him too. He’s finished.

Pineda is out a month. Nova is out for the year. Injuries are mounting. Are we fucked again? Maybe.

  • Pineda is that nifty pocket knife you got as a present a few years ago, forgot that you had, and lost again on your first camping trip with it after getting it back.

But offensively, the Yankees are pedestrian, and there’s no hope coming.
