RSN’s A-Rod Problem Redux Redux (Who F*cked the Culture?)

Joe Torre, straight from his gig at the Learning Annex, provides some appropriate perspective on the A-Rod frenzy in—of all places—the pages of the New York Post. Joe’s take: It’s not A-Rod, it’s not the Sox, it’s not RSN, it’s not the media. It’s, like, all of us. Ouch.

It covers everywhere. Check our music lately, there is not a whole lot of (class) that goes on there. As a whole, there is a lack of respect. It’s unfortunate and I know that I speak for my generation, but it’s reality. I don’t know. It certainly is against the grain for me.—Joe Torre

We’re sorry, Mr. Torre. Won’t you please forgive us? Please. We promise to behave this time. No more Brittany. No more Page Six. No more Gawker. We’re cancelling our US Weekly subscription. Really.

In other news, I heard that Kevin Brown said that “Matsui has this weird, kind of creepy thing for the Olsen twins”. But don’t quote me.

  • I have to agree too – and I object that this is titled “RSN’s” A-Rod problem! It’s Torre spouting in a NY paper this time, and, once again…. (drum roll) YF makes his 4th post on the topic! But, as he said originally, yeah – it’s us. Typical.

  • Hilarious. The Brewers have the right to keep score between squabbles between YFs & SFs. Who are you to say? And took what bait? Isn’t this a blog for discussion, & as I pointed out – isn’t it YF that’s really responsible for fanning these flames? Isn’t there some Brewer’s blog you can go annoy? Probably not….
