Schilly Chill: Sox-O’s Gamer I

NESN is hawking a "Red Sox Classic" from 1999 with dual heroes Darren Lewis and Jeff Frye.  I guess that means I am going to have to get my Sox fix in between tonight and Sunday, starting with the game that starts in Fenway sometime around 7:05.  Consider this thread open for tonight’s game, starring the AL leader in doubles, Mike Lowell, and our newfound hitter-for-average Wily Mo Pena.

  • Anyone watching MLB TV just hear Remy say, “Look at all that shit” during the commercial break? I just tuned in in time for that and want to make sure it wasn’t my imagination.

  • I assume you’ve seen MLB TV online? You know how sometimes (this season more often it seems to me), you can sometimes hear the announcers conversing between innings when they leave the camera on the field during a commercial break? That was when, just before the first inning.

  • Ah, so I wouldn’t catch it on NESN – they probably restarted the feed earlier on MLBtv.

  • Corners with 1 out (Tejada improves his AL leading average).

  • Our glove-only shortstop just cost the team a run. With his glove. Another first inning deficit.
