  • For a YF like me, this stuff is too funny. On this one, quite apart from Valentine’s well-established poor off-field judgment and foot-in-mouth disease, this particular move is also just a strange and poor in-game baseball move, which is the one area where I thought Valentine was OK. I’d like the Sox to keep him for the final year of his contract for the sheer entertainment value, but ultimately I’ll be surprised if he stays.
