nope, even IF the yankees sign him, its gonna REALLY clog up the yankees lineup
if he signed with the Red Sox, he just wouldnt fit
DH is already fulfilled by David Ortiz and LF is home to manny <–

If he can pitch as well as he can hit I’ll pay him whatever he wants.

Prima donna who doesn’t play well with others? Check.
Already have a power-hitting lefty who can’t field? Check.
Media magnet for intense criticism? Check.
Be right back; my wallet’s in the car.
(Gawd, I hope NY doesn’t even think about it.)

…i think this is one guy that we won’t fight over…i agree he’s not a good fit with either team…sox and yanks would both do well to steer clear of him…neither of us need another dh, which is probably how he’ll wind up…but, i’d find a way to give him some love if i had to…remember, it’s the uniform, not who’s in it…

Only if I knew for sure that he was back on the juice. :-)

…would that mean that there was a “cheater” in the red sox clubhouse?…sweet!…

Uniform or not, I could never support Barry Bonds in a Sox uniform. I’d boo him to my grave…
Paul SF October 28, 2006 at 3:01 pm
…uh huh…you knew you had to say that…you’ll have a heck of a moral dilemma if one of the publicly alleged cheaters goes to beantown, or if one of your own is dumb enough to get caught…
