Sunday Buffet Second Trip: Yanks-Jays Gamer III

J.A. Happ is on the mound for Toronto in the first, while Phil Hughes gets the start for the Bombers. Derek Lowe will join the team tomorrow in the pen. I still haven’t forgiven him for 2004.

  • From the other thread:

2 quick outs for Hughes and then a double of his laser-straight FB that he is lucky wasn’t a HR…

Then another rail straight FB is hit into RF for a 2-out RBI.

    0-1.

His FB has no movement, ever. Which is why he is a #4 or 5 starter.

He will not see the mound in the postseason.

  • 6 up, 6 down…

This is normally when I would lose my shit, but I’m not doing that anymore.

Many, many innings left to play.

  • Oof. Had errands to run, missed most of the game. Wish I missed all of it.

  • This next week will say a lot about this team…

4 against the Rags and then the evil Sox.

Injuries or no, we must protect this house.
