Team Toxic

Congress, always stepping off on the right foot, has chosen Curt Schilling and Frank Thomas, two of the least popular players in MLB, to headline its new anti-steroids task force. Brilliant!

  • Well, I suppose it’s a step above choosing the single least popular player, ARod. He’d spend all his time chastising everyone for not working out at 6:00 am like he does…

  • Ajm let me begin by telling you that women get chastised, He stated a fact. What he does in the off season is a questioned only asked by a journalist. All this bullshit started after the Dead Sox couldnt keep there mouths shut telling the man he is not a Yankee. Please get off the mans jock strap. He is a shoe-in Hall of Famer, give the man some respect. A-Rod was almost traded for 1/2 a ball player Manny. Forget about roids I think Mannys playing on crystal or acid.

  • YF…on what do you base your statement that schilling is “one of the least popular players” in the league? you are not a major leaguer. i would hazard a guess you don’t know any major leaguers personally. if you mean among fans, i would wonder, still, on what you base that assumption. i think he’s just a player YOU dislike.

  • Gee Ray, that’s quite a man-crush you’ve got going there on Slappy McBlueLips…I guess not everybody hates him! And Slappy foolishly made a point of bragging about how he’s the only guy in baseball up at the crack of dawn to work out, as if the other 749 players in the majors don’t work hard at conditioning or their craft. A dumb comment from a self-absorbed prima-donna, although not as dumb as his claim that The Slap was a smart play.

  • Hello again Ajm. Your right the man said he wakes up early, so what. Its not like the man said he trains harder than everybody else or that he is better than all of the Yankees. Relax not everybody is from Boston, so naturally I dont hate the guy. The man still has alot to prove. He will definately get 100RBI, 30HRs,& 20SBs. Leave A-rod alone. Also lets address your glove slapping incident, it was in the heat of the game, nothing was gained by him on that play. The outcome could of been worse, maybe a fight, clear the benches. Now lets talk about that mail-box headed special ed kid Varitek. The man intentionally went after A-Rod, thats cool fines were given benches cleared. Im not one to complain because I have played college baseball. These things happen, not often but they do. Varitek wont make the hall of fame, A-Rod will. Not to mention he gets paid way more money than that blockhead. I think it was jealously, or was it stupidity. So ajm go watch the Queer show and look out for your team. Who knows maybe they’ll start going after each other. Boston & Queer Eye you guys are setting yourself up for a million jokes.

  • See, that’s the thing, Raymond. The Sox know showing up on QE is funny, it shows that they have a sense of humor and are pretty secure with themselves. Mean-spirited insults thrown at them for appearing on that show are not only weak (and worse, homophobic), but irrelevant – their appearance on the show in itself completely disarms those that would try to attack them for it.
You seem to utterly lack a sense of humor, Raymond.

  • “Its not like the man said he trains harder than everybody else”
Actually, that’s exactly what he said. And implied that it puts him above everyone else in baseball.
“Also lets address your glove slapping incident, it was in the heat of the game, nothing was gained by him on that play. The outcome could of been worse, maybe a fight, clear the benches.”
If he had done ANYTHING else on that play (try to bowl over Arroyo to legally knock the ball out, stop in his tracks and make Arroyo come to him) it would have been a better outcome for his team.
“The man still has alot to prove.”
    True, but so what?
“Now lets talk about that mail-box headed special ed kid Varitek. The man intentionally went after A-Rod, thats cool fines were given benches cleared.”
Real classy terms used to insult Varitek. From the quality of your writing, you really shouldn’t be calling anyone else ‘special-ed’. And Slappy was walking out to the mound and threatening Arroyo over an obviously unintentional HBP when he should have been walking to first with his mouth shut.
“Not to mention he gets paid way more money than that blockhead.”
    So fucking what?
The rest of your idiotic post isn’t worth addressing.
