What a day for Kuroda.. Robertson and Rivera to finish it out
Rivera v. Machado to start the ninth. Grounder to Cano for the first out.
Markakis comes to the plate. Takes a fastball for strike one. Then he takes a cutter for a HUGE ride, just foul. Wow.. so close to a dinger, second deck, but it’s just a strike. Now a single up the middle for Markakist who is just dialed.
Adam Jones up with one away, takes a strike at the knees.
The 0-1 is in the left field seats. Blown save for Rivera, Yankees trail 2-1. The cutter just didn’t move.
Davis down swinging, two away.
Wieters up. Ump is squeezing Mo.
Now Wieters doubles into the stands. Just a bad day for Mo.
And the Yankees go down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the ninth. Not fun.. streak is over.
