It’s official: There’s a new Joe at the helm, and he’s already managing—expectations!
That is a weird picture to me. It looks like Joe G is being quizzed on the Pledge Of Allegiance, while wearing pinstripes over his day job uniform as an investment banker. Good eye-contact though.
According to MLB Trade Rumors…
“Cashman playfully informed Cano today that third base was indeed an option for him. He made a point to appear lighthearted here, perhaps to avoid public conflict if he does move Cano. I actually like the idea if the Yanks can make a reasonable deal for Orlando Hudson.”
I have to say I do like the idea of having O-Dog playing 2B. Not sure how long it would take Cano to pick up 3B, but he has a quick release and a real good arm so it’s not impossible that the move could work. The Yankees have worked well with Arizona in the past and the Diamondbacks have a ton of young talented infielders.
In other rumor news Cashman has contacted Kenny Williams about Joe Crede.
Girardi bears an uncanny resemblance in this picture to… Tony Danza.
Ballsy wearing #27…I like it.
Hudson, that’s what I was thinking! Well, I couldn’t finger the name, but yaaa.. ah well.
