Theory and Practice: Yanks-Jays Gamer Whatever

Philip Hughes hasn’t won a ML game since last season.  In theory, he’s better.  In practice, he needs some.  He’s facing AJ Burnett, who hasn’t been brilliant in theory but has been effective in his practice against the Bombers.  In theory, the Yankees could win out and wind up with an outstanding record in a division where it just doesn’t cut it in theory or practice, whilst seeing some of the young talent display their practice, theory be damned.  But practice is still practice in theory.

Practice what theory when now?  Comment away.

  • Private Practice is a horrible, HORRIBLE show. I loved Addison on Grey’s Anatomy, but she (and her surrounding cast) is atrocious on the spin-off.
Never watched Big Bang theory, though it looks funny.

  • The Yanks are out, I’ve been in Asia, so haven’t been posting much. Still, they might finish with 90 wins and out of the playoffs, but in a year where “most things did go wrong” with Wang, Joba, Hughes, etc.
If this is a _down_ year, that’s kind of awesome.
Okay, fine, I’m trying to be a little optimistic, but still, I guess 200+ mil buys you a lot of mistakes and injuries..
I’m just posting after reading all the “what went wrong” posts from “we should get rid of ARod” etc. Ah well.
