To The Rescue: Yanks-Halos Gamer II

Andy Pettitte is on the mound and will hopefully seal the gaping wound left by last night's woeful pitching.  Dan Haren holds the rock for the home team.  Comment away.

Cano vaginally pops out on 1 pitch.
MVP my ass.
Well, Pettitte is going to have to throw a no-hitter tonight.
After we get swept in Anaheim, then lose at least 2 of 3 in Detroit…we will end the road trip 4-5 at best.
Losing record in May.
Playoffs are a pipe dream.
We suck.
OH, and still no word really on Robertson and Gardner. At LEAST another 10 days away. Best case scenario.
Bright side…there is no bright side.

Haren making us his bitch…
We can’t hit no-name scrub rookies, why would we actually hit a good starter??
Fuck this bullshit. I cannot take watching this garbage embarrassment of a fucking team anymore.

1-for-last-33 w/bases loaded.
Don’t need to say anything else.
But I continue to.
Because for some reason, I continue to watch this franchise circle the drain.

“The Yankees are 15-17 against teams that were .500 or better and 11-6 versus clubs with losing records.”
Post.
Not even that good against garbage teams really, or as I call them, our new brethren.
This year could make ’08 look good actually.
Horrible, horrible team. AND the fun part is we are stuck with most of the old, slow pathetic losers for another 5-6 years!
YAY!!!

“And yet, the Yankees are not doing it, and the failure is pretty much across the board. Cano, a career .311 hitter with the bases loaded, is batting .100 in that situation this year, his one and only hit a grand slam. Alex Rodriguez, one of the most-feared bases-loaded hitters in baseball history (he has 22 career grand slams, second only to Lou Gehrig), is hitting .111. Derek Jeter, a/k/a Cap’n Clutch, is hitting .143, the same as Curtis Granderson.”
ESPN
$60 Million worth of failure. Or, the entire Rays payroll…
