  • The Indians trading for Fukudome made me feel a little better about the Sox trading for Aviles.

  • Scutaro’s error ends Wake’s perfect game. Seems like Scutaro makes a bad play (or three) almost every time he starts.

  • Sox can’t stand prosperity, keep hitting into DPs.

  • As usual, Wakefield left in too long, reducing the chance of both him and the Sox getting a win.

  • Wake had only allowed three hits going into the inning.
Say this for Tito, he knows when to be unsentimental.

  • I would’ve been inclined to pull him for any at bat that started with a runner on 3rd. Among other things, a wild pitch or passed ball ties it there and it’s much more likely to come with Wake than anyone else.

  • Sure would be something for Ellsbury to hit a walkoff two days in a row. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s going to end here.
