I remember getting that SI, isn’t that Nomar cover a great example of the SI curse?…I believe that mag came out in 2001–here are the stats:

That Nomar cover was awful the day it was conceived. On the other hand, Nomar can be thankful for the rest of his life that he wasn’t in that other spread.
