Could it be that YF’s crush of all time comes in a bridesmaid? Can 10th place actually be considered a bridesmaid? Head over to mlb.com and put in your two clicks. I’ve done my part, three times, in fact, and it wasn’t for you-know-who.
I’ve seen ESPN’s Daily Quickie also encourage this campaign. On baseball grounds, you have to put Tejada and Young ahead of Jeter. But, really, this is all about jealousy and all about Yankee hating. I like to think DJ would be flattered by the attention.
While we’re at it, I suggest we ban Schilling from the All-Star game forever more for his campaigning on behalf of George W Bush last November. That’s far more offensive then being preening, arrogant or useless.
Ah, Sam, I sympathize with your take on Mr. Schilling but have a little sense of humor – we’re not talking Florida recounts or anything here, just the All-Star game.
