Congrats to the Sox, no worse than the 2008 AL Wild Card team.
Bring on the Angels! Hopefully they’ll have cooled off some, considering they clinched the division on like July 17th.
But seriously, how anticlimactic will the playoffs be for them? K-Rod broke the saves record and they’ve been playing meaningless baseball for a month. Hell, they have a losing record in September! (13-14 record)
Exactly why I want the wild card. I know one should be wary of what one wishes for, but I think the Angles will be cold, and the Sox can take advantage of that. In a perfect world, Rays and Angels lose, thus setting up a much more comfortable ALCS.
Hey, get that bulletin board material for the White-Sox/Twins outta here!
