Womack Leads Off?!

We don’t mind a shake-up, but we’d rather see Andy Phillips in at second and Womack in the dugout. This is about our last choice. Ugh.

  • For as hard as Womack appears to run, shouldn’t he go faster? His effort-to-speed ratio appears very high.

  • I’m half pissed that Womack’s doing good so far, because that’ll just mean more at-bats in the leadoff spot.

  • Is there a bigger choker than A-Rod? Seriously, I rooted for Canseco and Strawberry when they were on the team, but I can’t stand A-Rod. I don’t know how he managed to play as well as he did for 3 or 4 games in the ALCS, because it’s obvious that Boston is in his head.

You’re serious about that? Because if so, that cracks me up.

  • Yeah, I am, the guy is making errors in key spots, swinging at crap, and generally looking lost out there.
    On the bright side, Bernie!

  • I’d rather see them bring back Steve Sax out of retirement to play 2nd.
