This year’s Yankee home attendance is up 370,000 against last year (which was a record year itself) according to today’s NYT. The average: 47,232 per game. The pinstripers are also #1 in average attendance on the road, though the Bonds show leads in absolute numbers right now, as the Giants have played more road games.’
That’s a lot of fannies in the seats. It would be nice if Doug Pappas were still around to crunch those numbers for us. Could A-Rod be, er, underpaid?
