Today we introduce a new part-time guest contributor to the site. Brooklyn-Soxfan (or BSF, for short) is his handle. We envision BSF as a kind of Lewis Black of the site; he’ll be contributing intermittent, energetic, humorous, and fiery editorials on the hot subject of the moment, with a finger on the pulse of the entire sports and baseball worlds and more specifically Yankee and Red Sox nations. He’s got credibility on that front: BSF has spent the last four years writing and producing for a sports television show of significant import. He also comes with a life of irony that informs this dual credibility: he grew up in New York City, Coney Island, but roots for the Red Sox. The playing field is finally level here at YFSF, at least in numbers (if not brainpower!).
Brooklyn-SF’s first post, detailing how he came to the Red Sox as a fan, will appear later today.
[ED: Post coming later today, Friday, sorry for the delay!]
