A Connecticut Yankee Not In Cliff Lee’s Court: Yanks-Rangers Gamer

Mark Teixeira will stay in Greenwich with his wife and newborn.  Good for him, it’s what a father should do.  In the mean time, it’s Vazquez at Arlington where Mr. Scary Man Cliff Lee hosts the Bombers.

ya know, i went to bed just before this game ended…partly because i was dog-a** tired, but also because i had a bad feeling that the comeback would come up short…glad i was wrong…maybe that was the kind of game we needed to get on a little roll, of the positive kind…

I hope so…Mo giving up the leadoff triple and then getting out of it was amazing. I’m not sure why it surprised me after the HOF track record but it always does!

feinsand said he told mo after the game that after watching him get out of a bases loaded no out jam against arizona in june that he wasn’t that impressed with last night’s “Houdini act”…he says mo just laughed…and that’s the way it is with mo…i was stunned seeing him lose the game the other night…even though i’ve seen him fail a few times before, he’s so automatic, and i am so spoiled, that it still freaks me out when it happens…
