Back To Bidness: Royals-Yanks Gamer I

Freddy Garcia is on the mound for the Yankees tonight, facing the Royals at The Stadium.  The Chief wasn't sharp his last two times out, allowiing 17 hits in 12 innings, but he did fan 8 while walking only two his last outing in Detroit.  KC sends Kyle Davies.  Comment away.

I won’t be able to watch it but the Royals have some hitters now. Hosmer is especially exciting. And they have a lot more in the pipeline.

It’s that complete on or off shit. Guys are either raking or swinging toothpicks with no in-between. So our hot hitters get on, and then the cold ones fail to deliver.

You may want to think about running out of the box Swish…you ass. A single off the wall??? Joe needs to do something about that bullshit. ARod does it too…
Have you ever seen Jeter not run hard??? Never. Assholes.

I didn’t want to post this until he got out of it: I really like Roberston this year. He has been brought in to some really sticky spots and seems to come through most of the time.
So-Mo time…if Yanks can’t add a few in the meantime.

It’s working, he’s not throwing as many balls now. Walks piss me off almost more than anything. Probably the only thing that angers me more is Rafael Soriano. Just him in general.

I’m sorry to say this so often, but I am so depressed by the fact that John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman call these games. Their just horrible. Their voices – especially hers – canonly be described as “grating”. Their commentary is tired, completely lacking in any insight whatsoever, his missed calls are frustratignly frequent, and on and on. This storied franchise seriously should have good, classy, smooth-talking commentators. These two honestly maybe the most clownish in all of baseball. I’m pissed about it because I follow about half my games each year on the radio rather than TV and I’m just fed up.

We aren’t close IH…my wife’s research is very complex and she isn’t sure yet when she’ll be done. We’ll have been here 4 years in August and we are hoping this time next year…but it depends on her research.
We should have a better idea in about 6 months I think?

Hughes gets a cortisone shot, feels like something got “relieved” in his shoulder, and is eyeing a mid-June return. Sure hope that doesn’t become a regular thing with him. Your body parts can only take a certain number of those shots over time.
Teix walks. Come on A-Rod. Come back to the world of extra-base-hits…

Very strange indeed…but we’ll take it.
Like we were saying leading up to the season, tread water until we trade for reinforcements.

Yep. Swisher up. Teixeira growing roots over at first base.
Sterling saying Swisher made the defensive play of the game saving a run. What happened? I joined late…

There were men on 1st and 2nd…a liner was hit to shallow-ish RF and Swish made a nice diving catch…if he would have missed it, both runs would have scored easily…
