Baseball, Illustrated

Today’s Sunday New York Times has a feature article on Graig Kreindler, an artist who lovingly recreates seminal moments in New York baseball.  Kreindler is a recent winner of the Norman Rockwell Museum Award for illustration and a major Yankees fan.  We’re happy to see that history for him (as shown above) involves ignominy (again, for him!) as well as ecstasy.  Kreindler’s website showcases his paintings, and we suggest you have a look.
