Battling For Second: O’s-Yanks Gamer II

Phil Hughes has four starts. He’s averaging four innings. David Phelps has eaten more innings this year than Hughes. From now on, I will think of PH as an ineffective long-reliever that they use in the beginning of the games, and see if that makes me feel better about things. Brian Matusz is on the bump for the O’s. Comment away.

13-9 in April. Not too bad.
Now that it’s May, can Hughes turn the page and make it though more than 3 innings?
Looks like Swish is going to be out for a week? But of course, they said Gardner would be back this week and now I’m reading that’s not happening…
Time for the Millionaires to step up and earn their loot.

OK, had to do come stuff…
1-1.
Granderson crushed a solo shot.
The O’s returned serve with a monster blast of their own.
Hughes is looking as good as possible. Our offense is looking as bad as possible.
Now back to the game…
