When I heard this I thought “the Sox should skip Lackey”, then thought “no way Tito skips a veteran and instead he should skip Daisuke”, then thought “no way he skips anyone since Tito always talks about keeping the guys in their routine and in order”, but now it turns out he’s skipping Lackey.
Good move.
I would think he’d want to skip Dice-K. Or are they just going to put Doubront or Aceves or Wakefield (please please) in the rotation in his stead?
Looks like the Toronto series will be Buchholz, Beckett, Lester, Daisuke.
